The first two weeks of the game I want it to be more a case presentation for each character, background, etc. So the player can have a better perception of what he will pursue if he choose an avenue or another route. Hitomi's and Haruka story are connected so I wanted to show this part of their story/background. After I flesh out the characters more, the real choices will begin and they will influence heavely your route. Right now they are mostly only afecting your personality if neutral/good/bad and that itself will also influence your future choices.
I came across an event bug that doesn't exist yet. When the MC gets off the subway there's a choice about going to a music store. When you choose that option, it talks about a character that the MC hasn't interacted with yet. So either it is a bug, or I didn't choose something towards the beginning of the game to lead the MC talking to someone name Kaito bout hacking Hitomi's phone.
This has a better pre-title sequence than I've seen on some AA games, The content is astounding too, unfortunately as it's still in production the story ends just as it's getting going, Looking forward to the continuation

I do have a question regarding the choice to help Hitomi, why do you help whether you say you're inclined to or not?
